EXPLORING CYBER RESILIENCE AT LMF SUMMIT
In the fast-paced world of cybersecurity and digital landscapes, staying ahead of the curve is not just a challenge; it’s a necessity. That’s why Neil Denning, CEO of Support Tree and our team representatives, were elated to secure their spots at the LMF Cyber Resilience Landscape Summit. This event, held on June 15, 2023, promised to be a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders, experts, and professionals. Little did they know that the summit would exceed all expectations, leaving them inspired and armed with newfound knowledge to enhance their organization’s cyber resilience.
The heart of the summit lay in its insightful discussions and learning sessions. Our team was engaged in dynamic conversations about the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats, challenges, and strategies for building robust cyber resilience. From interactive workshops to enlightening panel discussions, the summit provided a platform for attendees to dive deep into the world of cybersecurity.
One of the summit’s highlights was Neil’s participation in a panel discussion: “An SME Perspective: The Resilience Challenges”. He shared the stage with Roger A. Oldham, a renowned figure in the field. Together, they delved into the multifaceted world of resilient challenges and how organizations like Support Tree could adapt and thrive in the face of adversity.
Let’s hear what our CEO had to say…
Neil commented, “Participating in the LMF Cyber Resilience Landscape Summit was truly enlightening. Engaging in discussions with fellow experts and sharing our collective wisdom was invigorating. The collaboration and openness in sharing best practices were remarkable. It was an honour to exchange thoughts with Roger A. Oldham and contribute to the conversation on cyber resilience challenges. Looking ahead, we explored the future of cyber insurance in the UK.
I opined that the sector is ripe for disruption, with continuous monitoring tools offering an opportunity to shift from static risk assessments to a dynamic, holistic model of risk management. These ‘black box’ technologies could provide insurers with an ongoing, real-time overview of their client’s cybersecurity posture. Highlighting an innovative startup in this space, I suggested insurers could incorporate these cutting-edge technologies and integrate their use into their risk assessment process and I was pleased to hear some in sector are starting to offer this exciting service. This event has reinforced our commitment to strengthening Support Tree’s cybersecurity measures and better serving our clients.”
The LMF Cyber Resilience Landscape Summit was undeniably a monumental event for our team at Support Tree. This exceptional gathering of minds, insightful discussions, and valuable networking opportunities had not only broadened our horizons but also equipped us with the tools to navigate the ever-changing cyber landscape. We are building a more secure and resilient future for our organization, driven by the lessons learned at this unforgettable summit.
