Senior 3rd Line Engineer – Home or / and office based

Are you the ‘go-to’ service desk guru in your workplace? We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive 3rd line Engineer to join our team.

We require a competent and intelligent individual to join our team, someone who can demonstrate the qualities of self-motivation, good planning and organisation whilst being focused on the drive to succeed.

You will also be able to multi-task, have a can-do attitude and be adaptable to varying tasks.

We require someone who will be an integral part of our future, able to contribute to growth plans and build on current successes.

For the first 12-18 months, you will predominately supply 3rd Line Support and lead/contribute to project work. After this period, we expect the successful candidate to develop into the company’s Technical Lead and ultimately Head of Department.

The candidate must be able to define new processes and develop new ideas to make the service desk more effective with the key drivers measured and reviewed monthly.

Our 3-5 year plan is to grow the business significantly, so this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to play a leading part in a growing organisation.

  • Research, develop and implement the best Microsoft solution for our clients (mainly MS Azure, Office 365 and Networking Technologies).
  • Be the architect for current customer networks and security, including future development.
  • Scope and deliver IT projects within defined timeframes and to gross margin targets.
  • Define effective Azure, Office 365 and SharePoint migration projects.
  • Be the senior point of escalation for 2nd/3rd line support.
  • Upskill the current workforce.
  • Demonstrate and instil positive energy within the team.
  • Reduce incident/request time on tickets.
  • Effective Azure, Office 365 and SharePoint migration projects defined.

£30 to £40k + benefits + investment in training and development
